Social Impact

More than turnover. It’s turning over a new leaf for farming

For over two decades, we’ve been cultivating a reputation within the network of nationwide retailers we supply to – and the local communities we support – for honesty, hard work, commitment, and genuine upliftment.

It’s these old-school values that underpin our family-run and community-centric business’s commitment to digging deep, delivering premium produce on time, building a supply chain that our customers trust, and upskilling those around us in practical, meaningful ways that create measurable, positive impact.

“While we have a junior school on our farm, educating 50 children at present, we want to do more; starting with growing that number of children enrolled, then creating a training college for adults and ultimately realising our dream of playing a notable role in teaching many, many people to grow food.”

Knowledge is power – and empowering

The bottom line is that education is the strongest mechanism for socio-economic upliftment. It improves the current generation’s circumstances and unlocks the next generation’s opportunities, exponentially.

To date, we have sponsored what we can, where we can, but we want to do more and we will do more because it’s incredibly important to us as the Madron family that we grow this side of our business over the next two decades like we’ve grown our premium produce over the last two decades.
